Spiders Battle George Mason To 1-1 Tie

Natalie LeClair provided the tally for the Spiders in a 1-1 double overtime tie with George Mason Friday night at the Penn State Invitational.
LeClair scored off a Becca Wann and Liza Koch assist 11 minutes into the contest. The tally was a 12-yard shot off a cross pass.
George Mason provided the equalizer with just five minutes left in the game with an unassisted score from Jazmin Cardoso.
Richmond had three shots in the first overtime period but could not convert a score.
Richmond outshot the Patriots, 19-15, with Wann leading the charge with seven tries. LeClair had five shots, while Emily Dale added three.
Andrea Young had another stellar game in goal with six saves.
The Spiders wrap up weekend action against host Penn State Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
