UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The Richmond men's and women's soccer teams held a clinic with the university's international students on Wednesday evening at Robins Stadium.
"The evening served as a great opportunity for the teams to interact with the university's international students, many of whom have been lifelong soccer fans," said men's assistant coach Kirk Harwat. "We hope they'll come out and support us moving forward this season."
Harwat and women's assistant Peter Nash kicked off the evening's festivities by bringing the teams and international students together for introductions, which sparked a lot of discussion about their favorite soccer clubs.
The group then took part in various activities that included juggling and passing the ball, light scrimmaging and even a rousing game of soccer tennis. The group rounded out the evening by enjoying pizza and refreshments.
