Tonight's win is Richmond's first when playing under the lights at Robins Stadium and marks its second straight night-game victory. The team has now prevailed in a pair of night games in three of the last five seasons.
The Spiders are now 6-1 overall in their second season playing at Robins Stadium (5-1 in 2010).
Richmond has now won six consecutive home-openers dating back to 2006.
With the win, the Spiders move to 1-0 all-time against Wagner and have now won their last seven meetings versus a first-time opponent.
Richmond is 2-0 for the first time since 2009 when the team opened the season 8-0.

Player Notes

Aaron Corp's 56-yard pass to Ben Edwards in the first quarter marked a new career-long for the senior. Edwards' 56-yard reception was also a career long.
Corp's 236 yards passing is a new career high, surpassing his previous best of 207 yards in the Spiders' win over Elon last season -- that is also the last time a Spider QB had surpassed the 200-yard passing mark
With his six receptions on the night, Tre Gray moved up three places to third all-time at Richmond with 162 career receptions. Gray also rose two spots to fourth in the program record books with 2,128 receiving yards.
Colin Pehanick's second-quarter interception marked the third of his career.
