Men's Golf Finishes Seventh At Marshall Invitational

As a team, Richmond posted a 292 Tuesday for a 54-hole team total of 852 and was just six strokes out of fourth-place. Senior Brad Miller's even-par 71 led the way on Tuesday at the Guyan Country Club in Huntington, W.Va.
Walker fired a final-round 75 on Tuesday and the junior put himself in position for his third-consecutive top-10 finish dating back to last season after a pair of five-under-par scores of 66 in Monday's first two rounds. Walker finished 66-66-75 for a six-under par 207.
Miller finished T12 with his three-under-par 210 (70-69-71).
Freshman Colin McDade placed T35 with his 72-hole score of 216 (70-72-74), while sophomore Jake Wilkes lowered his score over each of three rounds, including his final-round 72, and finished T52 with a 219 (74-73-72). Freshman Danny Pizetoski was T77 (78-73-78=229).
Playing as an individual, senior Jack Lessing was T81 (84-74-72=230).
Ohio State won the team title (834), and the Buckeyes were paced by individual medalist Alex Redfield's 204.
The Spiders return to action at the VCU Shootout on Sept. 26-27 at Hermitage Country Club.
