Spiders Honor Seniors Tonight Against Butler

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va-- Richmond will honor its eight seniors as it hosts Butler tonight at 7 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
Richmond Lately: Richmond recorded a 1-0 victory over Fordham last Sunday at Robins Stadium. An own goal was scored in the game's 83rd minute to give Richmond the win. The Spiders sit a 2-2 in conference play, currently tied for sixth with four other teams. Becca Wann leads all Spiders with 10 points (5g). Richmond is 6-7-0 overall. Eight seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
Butler Lately: The Bulldogs swept A-10 awards this week, after posting a two overtime wins over Dayton and Xavier. Butler is 2-0-1 in A-10 play, currently fourth in league standings. Sophia Maccagnone and Kelly Mahoney were awarded the A-10 Rookie and Player of the Week respectively. Maccagnone leads the Bulldogs with 17 points. (8g, 1a). Butler is 8-3-2 overall and is playing in its first-ever A-10 road match.
