Wann Named To All-Conference Second Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Junior forward Becca Wann was named to the 2012 A-10 All-Conference second team as announced by the league office Wednesday.
Wann, a two-time A-10 Player of the Year, was also named to the College Sports Madness A-10 first team. Wann led Richmond in goals (7) and points (15) this season. Wann's four game-winning tallies ranked 35th in the country. Wann won a gold medal as part of the U-20 Women's National Team in Japan earlier this fall.
Wann was tabbed to the 2012 Hermann Watch List this season, an award given to the nation's top men's and women's soccer athlete. Wann was also named a NSCAA Division I All-American last year.
