Wo Men's Soccer Hosts La Salle, Fordham This Weekend

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond hosts La Salle Friday at 5 p.m. at Robins Stadium in the first of two home games this weekend.
Richmond comes into the match 5-6-0, 1-1-0 while La Salle is 8-3-0, 2-0-0. The Spiders are currently one of four teams with a 1-1 mark in A-10 play, while the Explorers are tied for first place with Charlotte and Fordham.
Richmond Lately: The Spiders had their three-game win streak snapped at Charlotte Sunday in a 2-0 loss to the 49ers. Richmond opened its conference slate with a 2-0 win over GW last Friday. Becca Wann and Violet Miller both scored. Richmond looks to defend its 2-0 mark at Robins Stadium this weekend. Wann has five goals in the past four games.
La Salle Lately: The Explorers opened their A-10 weekend with wins over St. Bonaventure and Duquesne. La Salle is led by last year's A-10 Rookie of the Year in Kelsey Haycook. Haycook has a team-leading 17 points with seven goals and three assists. Midfielder Renee Washington follows with 12 points (4g, 4a).
Last Time Out: In the series' last match-up, La Salle won, 2-1, Oct. 22, 2010 in Philadelphia.
Richmond faces Fordham Sunday at 12 p.m. The Rams bring a 6-6-0, 2-0-0 mark to Robins Stadium. Fordham faces VCU Friday before meeting the Spiders Sunday.
Fordham Lately: The Rams opened their conference season with 2-0 wins over Duquesne and St. Bonaventure last weekend. Fordham is led by Kristina Maksuti's 10 points (4g, 2a).
Last Time Out: Fordham took the last matchup, 1-0, in overtime Oct. 24, 2010 in the Bronx.
Up Next: Richmond continues its home stand with Butler and Saint Louis next weekend.
