Spiders Play Mason At Richmond Coliseum Saturday

RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond plays George Mason in the first game of the inaugural Governor's Classic on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Richmond Coliseum in a game televised nationally on the NBC Sports Network.
Richmond enters the game with a 9-3 record and George Mason is 6-4. The Spiders hold a 34-16 advantage in the all-time series.
THE LATEST
- Richmond plays in the inaugural Governor's Classic against George Mason on Saturday, downtown at the Richmond Coliseum. The Spiders play their first game in the Richmond Coliseum since March 6, 2000 and play former CAA rival George Mason for the first time since a 77-57 victory over the Patriots on Feb. 24, 2001 in the Robins Center. The Spiders are 5-0 vs. George Mason at the Coliseum.
- The Spiders have played 67 games in the Coliseum, including their entire home schedule during the 1971-72 season while the Robins Center was being built. Richmond is 32-35 all-time in the Coliseum, including winning CAA Championships in 1990, 1991 and 1998.
