Lovette Leads Richmond at Kiawah Intercollegiate

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The University of Richmond Spiders women's golf team carded a second round team total of 312 (+24) Monday at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. Heading in to the final round on Tuesday, the Spiders sit in 24th place with a 36-hole total of 630 (+54).
Sophomore Caroline Lovette continued her strong play at the tournament on Monday, shooting a 77 (+5) after carding an opening round 76 (+4) on Sunday. After 36 holes, Lovette sits in a tie for 34th place with a total of 153 (+9).
Junior Tracy Martin is tied for 87th place after two days with a score of 158 (+14), while sophomore Lauren Conder will enter the final round in a tie for 111th with a total of 160 (+16). On Monday, Conder tied Lovette for the best round on the team, carding a second round 77 (+5).
Rounding out the Spiders effort after 36 holes are sophomores Danielle Pinder and Viviana Perez. Pinder is tied for 111th with a score of 160 (+16), while Perez is just one stroke behind in a tie for 129th with a total of 162 (+18).
