Spider Wo Men's Golf Wraps Up Play at Kiawah

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The University of Richmond Spiders women's golf team concluded play at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic on Tuesday afternoon, carding a final round team total of 321 (+33). The Spiders finished in 25th place out of the 33 teams at the three-day event.
Leading Richmond from the first day to the last at the tournament was junior Caroline Lovette, who finished the KIC in a tie for 38th place with a score of 229 (+13). Lovette was consistent all three rounds for the Spiders, carding scores of 76-77-76.
Tying for 109st place were both junior Tracy Martin and sophomore Lauren Conder. Each ended the Kiawah Island Classic with 54-hole scores of 240 (+24).
Sophomore Danielle Pinder finished the event in a tie for 131st
with a total of 244 (+28), while classmate Viviana Perez finished just one
stroke behind in a tie for 134th with a score of 245 (+29).
Playing as individuals, junior Courtney Rousse tied for 59th with a score of 233 (+17), while sophomore Krystin Schwarze tied for 77th with a total of 235 (+19).
The University of Richmond Spiders women's golf team will return to action on March 10-11 when UR will host The Spider at St. James. The 54-hole tournament will be played at The Reserve in Southport, North Carolina. For all the latest news on Richmond women's golf, go to RichmondSpiders.com.
