Spiders Stopped At Duquesne

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Kendall Anthony scored 21 points, but the Spiders lost on the road at Duquesne 81-72 on Saturday night.
Anthony made 7-of-14 field goals and 5-of-7 three-pointers as he scored in double-figures for the 20th time in 24 collegiate games.
Derrick Williams had 11 points and six rebounds while Cedrick Lindsay had a double-double with 11 points and 11 assists.
Josh Duinker had nine points and redshirt freshman Wayne Sparrow scored seven points, grabbed five rebounds, had one block and one steal in his best all-around game as a Spider.
Eric Evans led five Dukes in double-figures with 17 points. Duquesne (14-9, 5-4 Atlantic 10) scored 42 points in the paint and had 14 fast break points.
Richmond returns home to host La Salle on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. and George Washington on Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
