Richmond's Aaron Corp Invited to NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After finishing his career at Richmond this past season with a stellar senior year, quarterback Aaron Corp was invited to participate in the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Corp was one of two CAA players to earn an invitation, along with Maine's Jerron McMillian.
After an injury-shortened junior season at Richmond, Corp started all 11 games for the Spiders in 2011. Corp had a great year, going 247-for-388 passing for 2,682 yards and 17 touchdowns. Over his Richmond career, Corp threw for 20 touchdowns, completing 61.4 percent (314-of-511) of his passes.
Corp's best game as a Spider came this past season in a hard-fought loss to Towson on October 9. Corp started the game completing his first 15 passes and finished the contest 31-of-34. Corp's 91.2-completion percentage for the game set an all-time FCS record, while his 353 yards passing were a career high.
On the year, Corp tallied three games with over 300 yards passing - all coming in CAA conference games. The Villa Park, Calif., native also had six games with multiple touchdowns, including a career-high three scores at Old Dominion on November 5.
