Team Notes
- Head Coach Danny Rocco is now 6-1 all-time in conference-openers and 1-0 in CAA-openers.
- Richmond won its first-ever meeting with Georgia State and its first-ever game in Atlanta with Saturday's 35-14 victory.
- The Spiders are now 5-0 in their last five league-openers when opening their conference slate on the road.
- Richmond has now won three straight games by a combined margin of 123-28 and two-straight contests on the road.
- The Spiders have now won three-straight games in consecutive seasons after opening the year with three wins in 2011.
- The team has allowed its fewest points in three-consecutive games since also allowing just 28 points in 2008 (48-0 win over Georgetown on Oct. 25, 34-14 win over Hostra on Nov. 8, 31-14 win over Delaware on Nov. 15). The Spiders allowed 22 points over a three-game stretch in 2007.
- The Spiders are 4-0 in their last four conference-openers when starting league slate on the road.

Player Notes
- Redshirt senior QB John Laub turned in a career-high four touchdowns in Saturday's win, including a career-best three rushing scores. His 73 rushing yards also represented a new career high.
- Redshirt senior DB Cooper Taylor recorded his third career interception against GSU after tallying two at VMI last week.
- Redshirt senior DB Doug Howell had the first two interceptions of his career on Saturday.
- Sophomore kicker Remington Hinshaw's five PATs marked a new career high.
- Redshirt senior LB Darius McMillan tallied double-digit tackles for the second time this season (also finished with 10 stops in season-opener at UVA).
- Redshirt sophomore WR Stephen Barnette's touchdown was his first of the season after finishing with five last season.
- Redshirt junior RB Jovan Smith's score was his second of the season and the third of his career.
