Men's Basketball Plays At No. 13 Butler Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Richmond plays at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse against No. 13 ranked Butler on Wednesday in a game televised on CBS 6.3 in Richmond.
In Richmond, the game will be broadcast on WTVR-TV's digital channel 6.3, which is available on Comcast Channel 206 and Verizon Fios Channel 466. The game is also being televised in Indianapolis on MyINDY-TV 23 and live streamed at ButlerSports.com through a link here at RichmondSpiders.com.
This will be the first Atlantic 10 meeting between the two teams and is just the second meeting all-time. Richmond defeated Butler 69-68 in the 2004 Fiesta Bowl Classic.

- The Spiders play their second-straight road game at Atlantic 10 newcomer Butler in historic Hinkle Fieldhouse on Wednesday. Richmond holds a 1-0 lead in the all-time series having defeated the Bulldogs 69-68 in the 2004 Fiesta Bowl Classic.

Brothers is third on Richmond's all-time career list for three-point percentage (.412) and is seventh on the career list for three-pointers with167. He is eighth in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (15.1 ppg) and is 36th on UR's all-time scoring list, needing eight points to tie Scott Stapleton (1,059) for 35th, nine points to tie Jeff Pehl (1,060) for 34th and 11 points to tie Bill Flye (1,062) for 33rd.
- The Spiders are third in A-10 wins over the last 6 seasons with 52, behind onlyXavier (67) and Temple (64). Saint Louis is fourth with 45. Richmond is 36-17 in its last 52 Atlantic 10 regular-season games and 41-18 in its last 59 games vs. Atlantic 10 teams.
