Spiders Finish 11th At UNCG Starmount Fall Classic

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Richmond women's golf team finished 11th at the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic Tuesday.
Senior Lauren Conder led the way for Richmond, carding a second-straight 72 (+1) after shooting the same team-low score in the second round. Conder placed 13th individually, registering her second top-20 finish of the season.
Sophomore Jessica Lydia tied a tournament low, carding a 74 (+3) on the last day of action. Lydia finished 23rd overall. Krystin Schwarze added an 82 (+11) in the final round, while Elizabeth Rubino carded an 83 (+12). Freshman Caroline Quamme shot an 85 (+14) rounding out Richmond's lineup.
The Spiders shot a cumulative 925 (+73) in the Classic, placing ahead of Gardner-Webb, Charleston Southern, North Florida and host UNCG.
The Spiders return to action Monday, Oct. 7 at the Charleston Southern Wendy's Invitational in Charleston, S.C.
