Richmond Hosts Saint Louis Friday At 7:30 P.M.

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- After eight-straight road games, the Richmond women's soccer team returns to Robins Stadium Friday, Oct. 4 to host Saint Louis at 7:30 p.m.
Richmond Lately
Richmond's last home game came against Longwood Aug. 30 ending in a double-overtime draw. The Spiders (3-6-2, 0-1-0) will host four of their next five games at the friendly confines of Robins Stadium. Richmond opened conference play with a 4-0 loss to A-10 preseason favorite Dayton. Seniors Erin Layne and Kristen Lybert lead Richmond with two goals apiece. Three other Spiders have notched goals this season. Layne also has recorded a team-high 20 shots. The Spiders knocked off the Billikens, 1-0, last October at home.
Scouting Saint Louis
The Billikens opened conference play with a 3-2 win over the Bonnies Friday. Livi Logan-Wood scored the game-winner in the 88th minute. Saint Louis (2-8-1, 1-0-0) outshot St. Bonaventure 18-7 as it won its sixth conference opener. Four Billikens sit atop the scoring leaderboard with two goals apiece. Sophomore goalkeeper Hanna Benben has made all 11 starts in goal, recording 38 saves in 1010:00 minutes. Saint Louis is 0-3 in road contests this season.
