UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- The Richmond women's basketball team opened practice last week amid construction to the Robins Center.

The Spiders' first official practice took place on the newly refinished floor of the Robins Center amid its $17 million makeover.

Richmond returns two starters and welcomes three freshmen, including Massachusetts Player of the Year Olivia Healy, to this year's roster.

The Spiders open their 2013-14 season at Georgetown Nov. 8.
