S. Jones, Williams Set For Sportsline TONIGHT At Flinn's

Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend The Spider Sportsline with men's basketball coach Chris Mooney, and player guests ShawnDre' Jones and Derrick Williams, at Flinn's Restaurant, 403 N. Ridge Road in the Tuckahoe Shopping Center this Monday, Jan. 13, from 5:30-6:30pm.
The popular, live radio show, featuring Coach Mooney, host Bob Black, and their special guests, can be heard on ESPN 950, RichmondSpiders.com and on the free Spider Mobile App available on iPad, iPhone and Android. Fans in attendance will enjoy Flinn's food and beverage menu, and have a chance to talk Spider and college basketball. Listeners can call-in during the program at 804-345-0950 or 233-7680. Emails can be sent anytime to spidersportsline@richmond.edu and will be read on-the-air.
Both players were instrumental in the Spiders' overtime victory at Fordham Saturday. Jones, a freshman, connected on three three-pointers in the second half. Williams, a senior playing in his home city, scored 10 points, including a critical three-point play near the end of regulation and two free throws in overtime.
Monday's show includes a review of the start of Atlantic 10 play and a special preview of Saturday's nationally-televised 3 p.m. game against Dayton, which has been designated the "Official Grand Opening" of the New Robins Center, celebrating the $17 million renovation of the home of Spider Basketball.
Flinn's Restaurant, offering affordable dining in a family-friendly atmosphere, is the home of the Spider Sportsline throughout the basketball season. On Monday nights, Flinn's offers its Spider Sportsline Special – baked spaghetti with salad – for just $6. Flinn's is open seven days a week, including brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
The Spider Sportsline with Coach Chris Mooney will air live from Flinn's every Monday from 5:30-6:30pm for the remainder of the college basketball season.
