Spiders Place Second At Lehigh Palm Beach Invite

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. - The University of Richmond Spiders women's golf team placed second at the Lehigh Palm Beach Invitational on Monday, carding a team round of 314 (+26). Yale won the tri-match with a score of 311 (+23), while Lehigh placed third with a total of 318 (+30).
Leading the way for the Spiders on Monday was senior Tracy Martin, who placed fifth overall with a score of 77 (+5). Just one shot shy of her teammate, sophomore Eliza Breed tied for sixth place with a total of 78 (+6).
Senior Caroline Lovette continued her strong play this spring season, finishing the one-day tournament in a tie for eighth place with a score of 79 (+7). Junior Lauren Conder placed 10th with a total of 80 (+8). Rounding out Richmond's effort was freshman Elizabeth Rubino, who tied for 20th with a total of 92 (+20).
The Richmond Spiders women's golf team will be back on the course on March 17-19 when the team heads to Williamsburg to play in the C&F Bank Intercollegiate.
