Spider Wo Men's Golf Starts Play At UNCW Classic

WALLACE, N.C. – The University of Richmond Spiders women's golf team began play at the UNCW Seahawk Classic on Saturday, shooting a two-round total of 632 (+56) to sit in 12th place. UNCW leads the 14-team tournament with a score of 613 (+37).
Shooting rounds of 76-72, senior Tracy Martin is tied for seventh place overall with a score of 150 (+6). Martin is looking to keep her impressive streak alive, as she has earned at least a top-20 finish in all eight tournaments this season.
Seniors Caroline Lovette and Courtney Rousse are tied for 32nd place, as each carded 36-hole totals of 158 (+14) on Saturday in Wallace, N.C. Sophomore Eliza Breed is tied for 54th place with a score of 166 (+22).
The Richmond Spiders women's golf team will be back on the course on Sunday to play the third and final round of the UNCW Seahawk Classic.
