Richmond Falls On The Road At Dayton, 78-74

DAYTON, Ohio - Junior guard Cedrick Lindsay tied his career-high with 22 points but Richmond dropped a hard-fought game at Dayton on Saturday afternoon, 78-74.
With the setback, the Spiders had a three-game winning streak snapped and fall to 17-12 on the season overall and to 7-7 in Atlantic 10 conference play. Dayton improves to 16-12 on the year and to 6-8 in league action.
Lindsay was terrific all game for the Spiders, going 6-of-8 from the floor and 9-of-11 from the free throw line. Senior guard Darien Brothers scored 19 points for Richmond, while junior forward Derrick Williams added 17 on 7-of-9 shooting.
The Spiders had won four straight against the Flyers and were looking for their second-straight win at UD Arena.
The Spiders will be back in action on Wednesday when the team will face cross-town rival VCU at 8 p.m. The game can be seen nationally on CBS Sports Network.
