Charlie Goens To Serve As Acting Head Baseball Coach

University of Richmond baseball assistant coach Charlie Goens, who has been serving as acting head coach since May 18, will remain in that capacity following Thursday's announcement of head coach Mark McQueen's resignation. Goens recently completed his third season on the Spider baseball staff.
Assistant coach Tag Montague and volunteer assistant coach Tanner Biagini will remain in their current positions.
A national search is underway for Richmond's eighth head coach in 100 years of intercollegiate baseball.
