UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – Former Spider standout Tracy Martin won the New Hampshire Women's Golf Assocation State Am last weekend.
The Tyngsborough, Mass. native finished the three-day tournament of 3-over par 219 (75-72-72) for her first-ever State Am title. Martin, a member of the Nashua Country Club, won the tournament with the majority of spectators cheering on the hometown star.
“I am so proud of Tracy and her huge accomplishment,” said head coach Maggie Will. “It is nice to see Tracy continuing her success after graduation.”
Martin finished her illustrious career as one of the most decorated Spiders in program history, recording the second-lowest scoring average (78.44) by a Richmond women's golfer.
Martin was an All-CAA honoree and set a school-record for a 75.04 scoring average her senior campaign. Also in that year, Martin finished with a team-best seven top-10's and 10 top-20 finishes.
