Richmond Football Jumps Two Spots In Coaches Poll

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – After a season-opening shutout of VMI at a sold-out Robins Stadium this past Saturday, the University of Richmond Spiders football team rose in the latest FCS Coaches Poll released on Monday.
The Spiders jumped two spots to No. 12 in the Coaches Poll after dismantling the VMI Keydets, 34-0, at Robins Stadium. In the Sports Network FCS Top 25, Richmond remained ranked No. 15 in the nation.
The Richmond Spiders football team will travel south to face FBS foe N.C. State on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
