Wo Men's Soccer Opens A-10 Play At Dayton

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond plays at Dayton Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in both teams' conference opener.
Richmond Lately
The Spiders are coming off a dominating 3-1 victory over American Wednesday where Kristen Lybert, Violet Miller and Jensen Smith all notched goals. Ashley Williams, Lindsey Egbers and Dana Bernetich each were credited with assists. The Spiders outshot American, 15-11, led by Erin Layne and Miller's three attempts. Emily Kelly ranks first in the conference in goals against average at 0.45 per game and first in save percentage at .882 having secured 15 saves in five games played. The Spiders fell in last year's meeting with the Flyers, 2-1, at Baujan Field. Layne recorded the score for Richmond.
Scouting Dayton
The Flyers come into Saturday's game with the second-best overall record in the A-10 at 5-4-1. Datyon recently defeated Toledo, 4-0, on Sunday. Sophomore Ashley Campbell leads the league with 10 goals on the season, while Juliana Libertin leads the conference in assists (7) and shots per game (4.10). Campbell and Libertin rank second and third in total points, respectively.
