SpiderTV Interview With Redskins GM Bruce Allen
09/04/2013 | Football
Washington Redskins Executive Vice President & General Manager Bruce Allen's game plan to bring his NFL team's pre-season training camp to Richmond was a professional business decision with a personal homecoming.
Allen is a University of Richmond graduate, Class of 1978. He was a standout punter on the football team and his name still appears in the Top 5 in several punting categories in the Spider record book.
With a legendary Pro Football Hall of Fame father who coached the Redskins to the Super Bowl and a brother who is a former governor and senator of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Bruce Allen is now leaving his mark on the Capitol City and his alma mater.
SpiderTV sat down with Allen near the end of Washington's first training in Richmond and asked him to talk Redskins football and reminisce about his days as a Spider.
