HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Richmond men's golf team opened the 2014 spring season Monday, shooting a 615 in two rounds to sit in 12th out of 17 teams at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate.
The third and final round will be played Tuesday at Wexford Plantation.
Sophomore David Germann is tied for 28th at 8-over 152 after rounds of 72 and 75.
Juniors Danny Pizetoski and Colin McDade are tied for 47th at 11-over 155. Pizetoski shot a 74 and 81 and McDade carded a 78 and 77.
Senior Jack Wilkes is tied for 53rd at 156 (79-77) and sophomore John David Sanderson is tied for 69th at 160 (82-78).
