Men's Golf Takes 14th At Wexford

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Richmond opened the spring season with a 14th-place finish at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate, played Monday and Tuesday.
The Spiders had a three-day total of 941, finishing ahead of fellow Atlantic 10 member Dayton.
Junior Danny Pizetoski tied for 44th at 231. Pizetoski shot a 2-over 74 in the opening round and a 4-over 76 in the final round Tuesday.
Sophomores David Germann and John David Sanderson tied for 68th at 239. Senior Jack Wilkes tied for 71st at 240 and Colin McDade tied for 75th at 242.
The Spiders return to action with a dual match against Penn State on March 1 at Independence Golf Club in Midlothia.
