Men's Golf Tied For Sixth At Pinehurst

PINEHURST, N.C. - Junior Danny Pizetoski is tied for second and the Richmond men's golf team is tied for sixth after two rounds of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate.
Pizetoski shot a 5-over 76 in Monday's second round on the famed Pinehurst No. 2 and sits in a tie for second with UNCG's Roy Dixon at 3-over 145. Pizetoski cared a 2-under 69 in Sunday's first round on Pinehurst No. 8.
Pizetoski is one shot behind leader Patrick Sundlof of UNCG.
The Spiders carded a 312 on Monday after a 311 on Sunday. Richmond is tied with Marshall at 623, three shots behind Old Dominion.
Senior Jack Wilkes (81-80) and junior Austin Romeo (81-80) are tied for 37th at 161. Sophomore David Germann is tied for 44th at 164 and sophomore John David Sanderson.
The thrid and final round of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate is Tuesday on Pinehurst No. 8.
