KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The Richmond men's golf team is in a tie for 14th after two rounds of the Irish Creek Collegiate played at The Club at Irish Creek on Saturday.
The Spiders shot a 13-over 297 in the morning round and a 302 in the afternoon to enter Sunday's final round at 599, 10 shots behind Kansas in a competitive field.
Senior Jack Wilkes is tied for 36th at 5-over 147 after rounds of 3-over 74 and 2-over 73.
Sophomore David Germann is tied for 46th at 6-over 148 after carding a 1-over par 72 in the morning round and a 76 in the second round.
Junior Colin McDade is tied for 69th at 152 (77-75), junior Danny Pizetoski is tied for 74th at 153 (75-78) and freshman Mark Reilly is tied for 80th at 154 (76-78).
