Pizetoski, Lowe Lead Spiders In Opening Round

BURLINGTON, IOWA - Senior Danny Pizetoski and freshman Matthew Lowe led the Spiders in the first round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa.
Both Pizetoski and Lowe shot first-round 75's (+3) to lead the Richmond scorers. Their scores tied for 36th overall among the 60-player field.
Keegan Hoff shot 77 (+5) in the first round, while David Germann carded an 80 (+8). Freshman Jimmy Davis also competed but his round of 82 (+10) was not included in the team scoring, as only the top four scores are tallied.
Richmond currently sits in 12th place among the competitive field which features talented programs from 12 different conferences. The Spiders have a team score of 307 through the first round.
