Diaz Sisters Lead Spider Wo Men's Golf At Louisville

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. - Two new Richmond Spiders made an immediate impact as the program opened its fall season at the Louisville Cardinal Cup on Monday at the Louisville Golf Course in Simpsonville, Ky.
Freshman Elsa Diaz and sister Sara Diaz were the top two scorers for the Spiders through the first two rounds. Elsa Diaz shot a 176 (+12) in the first two rounds, putting her in a tie for 47th overall.
Sara Diaz shot a 162 (+18) through two rounds, the second-highest score for Richmond. Jessica Lydia shot a 163 (+19) and Kira Kuhnert carded a 169 (+25).
As a team, Richmond sits in 17th place heading into Tuesday's final round.
