Women's Golf Finishes Fall In Louisville

The Richmond Spiders women's golf program finished its fall season at the Cardinal Cup in Simpsonville, Kentucky Tuesday with a 50-over par (308-299-307 914) result at the UofL Golf Club.
Richmond was 12th of 15 teams in its toughest tournament field of the fall.
Leading the Spiders in scoring was sophomore Elsa Diaz (San Antonio, Texas), with her 10-over par (76-73-77 226) final score. She was in a tie for 23rd in the field of 81 golfers. Her 11 birdies were tied for third-most of the field of golfers this week.
Next best for UR was freshman Annie Collom (Davidson, North Carolina), who was 14-over (78-76-76 230).
Senior Jessica Lydia (Jakarta, Indonesia) was one stroke back of Collom's group (80-72-79 231), in a tie for 44th. Her even-par 72 in the second round on Monday was Richmond's best round of the week. Her 33 pars in the three rounds led the way for the Spiders.
