2015 Women's Soccer Year in Review

- The Spiders won five games overall, including three in the A-10, matching their conference win total from 2014.
- The Spiders scored 19 goals and posted 22 assists. The 22 assists were 11th-most in program history, while their 3.33 points per game were 12th-best for a single season at UR. The Spiders logged a win over eventual league champion Duquesne to start the league schedule. Six of the 18 teams on the schedule made the NCAA Tournament, as the Spiders played five team in the NCAA Top 50 in the RPI, eight of the Top 100 and 14 in the Top 150 (or top half) of 2015.
- Freshman Keaira Clark was named to the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Rookie team. Clark scored a goal, netting two points, and made an immediate impact on the team at a vital center-midfield position.
- Senior Ashley Riefner led the team in scoring, with team highs of four goals and six assists, for 14 points. Her assists and assists-per-game totals were seventh best in the A-10 for the season. She was the only multi-goal scorer for the season for the Spiders, with two goals in a 3-2 win at Rhode Island. For her career, Riefner scored 13 goals and assisted on 18 others for 44 career points. She finished ninth all-time at UR in points and eighth in points per game (0.60) after playing 73 in four years. She posted three game-winning goals in both of her last two seasons at Richmond. Her 18 assists were fifth most in a Spiders uniform. In 2014, she tied the single-game goals (3, on 9/19) and assists (3, on 9/7) records. She was rated the fifth-best player in the A-10 by TopDrawerSoccer.com at the conclusion of the season.
- Sophomore Katie Brennan took three of the five wins as the goalkeeper, with one shutout. In just over 1,000 minutes in goal, she posted a 1.40 goals-against average and made 51 of the team's 89 saves.
- Freshman Jessica Stanfill played eight games, making seven starts, posting the other shutout and winning two games for the Spiders. Her goals-against average was 2.22 and she made 26 saves.
- The Spiders had goals scored from 10 different players, one more than in 2014 and assists from 11 different players, matching the total from the previous season. Five of the 10 players scoring a goal put in their first of their career this season.
- Richmond finished fifth in the league in saves, sixth in shots and seventh in assists per game.
- Richmond scored four goals in a neutral-site win over Delaware, their season-high goal total.
- The Spiders graduated six seniors… Dana Bernetich, Hannah Holub, Emily Kelly, Nichola Mottram, Darian Podmajersky and Ashley Riefner
