Indoor Track & Field Competes in Season Opener at CNU

RICHMOND, Va – The University of Richmond Women's 2015-2016 indoor track & field began on Saturday, December 5th at the CNU Holiday Open.
Senior Jade Gregory was the standout performer and won the 600 meter run with a time of 1:34.29. Gregory finished first out of 23 competitors.
Also coming out with an impressive performance was junior Sarah Timko, who finished in second place in the women's pole vault with a measurement of 3.35m.
Finishing in second place in the long jump was junior Janel Francis with a distance of 5.42m.
The Richmond women will be back in action in 2016 at the Art & Linda Mallet UNC Open on January 16th.
