#SPIDERSTRONG: RICHMOND SNAPS 20-POINT DEFICIT FOR AN OT WIN OVER SLU
A 20-0 deficit with eight minutes into the contest didn't scare the Spiders, as Richmond rallied for a 75-72 overtime victory over the Saint Louis Billikens Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Robins Center. After shooting 23 percent in the first half, the two teams went into halftime with the Billikens up 10. Richmond came out with a 12-2 run to tie the score for the first time at the 15:35 mark. HUBBARD'S NEW ROLE
Sophomore Janelle Hubbard entered her second season with the Spiders in a new role as she added a scoring threat off the bench in the first seven games.
