Spiders Place 10th At Mission Inn Spring Spectacular

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Richmond men's golf team improved in its final round to finish in 10th place in the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular from Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.
Senior Danny Pizetoski came on strong on Sunday, posting a 74 in his final round to finish with a team-best score of 77-77-74=228 (+12). He finished tied for 30th overall.
Sophomore Keegan Hoff was the team leader coming into Sunday and he tied for second on the team with a 79-74-76=229 (+13) performance to tie for 35th overall. David Germann shot 76-80-73=229 (+13) with his Sunday one-over-par round going in as the Spider's best round of the weekend.
Austin Romeo shot 78-80-77=235 (+19) to round out the Spider scorers and tie for 57th overall.
Matthew Lowe carded a 81-78-78=237 (+21), and Mark Reilly shot 81-78-77=236 (+20) playing as an individual.
As a team Richmond shot 919 (+55) with a 12-over-par performance under Sunday.
The Spiders' next tournament will be on March 29-30 at the Seahawk Intercollegiate from Wilmington, N.C.
