
Germann Shoots Career-Low 68 At UNCW

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Junior golfer David Germann shot a career-low 68 (-4) in the second round of the Seahawk Intercollegiate at the Country Club of Landfall on Sunday.
Germann's round tied for the second-best round of any golfer in the tournament so far and marked the lowest round for any Spider this season. His previous career-low round was 69 (-2).
Entering Monday's final round, Germann sits in a tie for 12th overall with a two-round score of 146 (+2).
Freshman Matthew Lowe shot two rounds of 76 for a score of 152 (+8), while sophomore Keegan Hoff shot 78-76=154 (+10).
Austin Romeo rounded up the Spider scorers with a 84-83=167 (+23), and Mark Reilly competed as Richmond's fifth golfer (88-83=171, +27).
Final round action from Wilmington concludes on Monday. Richmond currently sits in 12th place.
