Elsa Diaz Earns Patriot League Honorable Mention Accolades

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Richmond freshman Elsa Diaz was named to the Patriot League Monthly Award list, picking up honorable mention accolades for March.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Diaz led the Spiders with a top-10 finish at the Middleburg Bank Invitational last weekend at the Plantation Course at Kingsmill.
She shot 77-74-78=229 (+13) on the tournament, tying for seventh overall in the field.
Diaz led the squad in two of the spring's first four tournaments. She leads Richmond this season with a stroke average of 77.30.
The Spiders will travel to Annapolis, Md. for the Patriot League Championships on April 18-19.
