Spider Soccer Alumni Game Recap

On March 28, the UR Women's Soccer program welcomed back players of many eras for an Alumni Game 2015. Players of the 19-year program returned for some friendly competition, followed by social activities throughout the evening.
“It was wonderful to see so many former players return and spend time together," said Peter Albright, the program's only coach in its storied history.
"The game was very well played, and both teams showed a great competitive spirit. I'm pretty sure that there were some sore muscles after the weekend, though! I am also excited to begin a program called CONNECTIONS that connects former players who are our in the working world with current players who are at the beginning of their journey, preparing for professional life after college. I think that this mentoring relationship could provide great insight to our current players, sharing experiences and developing relationships between our players and these amazing Alumni.”
