Ashley Riefner emerged last season as one of Richmond's most dangerous offensive threats. Her incredible fitness level allows her to be one of the few soccer players that gets better as the game goes long. She outworks almost everyone she faces and is fun to watch with the ball in the open field. She was the only player in the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2014 with at least nine goals and nine assists. She did not have a career goal until her first game of her junior campaign, at the season-opening game at Campbell. A First-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-State Performer, she will be noted by every opponent the Spiders face this season as she concludes her college career.
