UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond (2-1) will host Hampton (1-2) on Tuesday at noon as part of the Barclays Center Classic on CSN.
The game will be Dream Big Day presented by Park Sterling Bank as nearly 2,000 elementary school students will descend on the Robins Center.
Four different players reached double figures on Sunday as the Spiders knocked off Robert Morris, 81-69.
T.J. Cline had one of his best games of the season with 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. He is 50th in the country in assists and has the most for any player 6-9 or taller.
All three Spider freshman boasted career highs as Nick Sherod (10) De'Monte Buckingham (9) and Grant Golden (3) had big games.
Tuesday's game will air on Comcast SportsNet in the mid-atlantic area. It will also be streamed online at Atlantic10.com. Bob Black and Lane Casadonte will be on the call.
The game will also be on the radio on ESPN 950 AM and 107.3 BBT FM and streaming on RichmondSpiders.com. Robert Fish and Matt Smith will call the action over the radio airwaves.

Scouting Hampton
Hampton comes to Richmond fresh off a trip to Kansas State on Sunday. The Pirates lost to KSU 89-67 in a Barclays Center Classic game. HU averages 64.3 points per game with opponents shooting 48.8 percent from the field. The last two seasons, Hampton was an NCAA postseason participant and the Pirates were picked to finish third in the MEAC preseason poll.
Three different players average in double figures with Jermaine Marrow (13.0), A.J. Astroth (10.0) and Kalin Fisher (10.0).
Series vs. Hampton
The Spiders are 4-1 all-time against Hampton, winning the last four in a row against the Pirates. UR's only loss came in the first game of the series at Hampton in 2002. The teams last played in the Robins Center in 2012.
Senior Floor Leader
ShawnDre' Jones displayed tremendous mettle in Richmond's tough season-opening win over VMI. He shot 9-of-13 from the floor, including 4-of-5 from three and 9-of-11 from the foul line. He also had three assists and three steals. With the game tied and less than 15 seconds remaining, Jones drove the left side and forced a foul on his shot. His free throws on the personal foul and eventual technical gave Richmond its three-point win.
Jones' 31-point game marks the first 30-point effort in a season opener since Kevin Steenberge (30) in 2004 against Seton Hall.It was also just the 19th 30-point game since 2000 by any Richmond Spider. Jones was named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week.
National Rankings
ShawnDre' Jones currently ranks 29th in the country and fourth in the Atlantic 10 with 23.0 points per game. He is sixth in the league with 2.3 threes per game and sixth in the conference with a FG percentage of 56.1.
T.J. Cline is fifth in the conference and 50th in the country with 5.7 assists per game. Cline currently has the most assists for any player 6-9 or taller in the country.
Early Season Tournament Success
Richmond begins play in the Barclays Center Classic with home-hosted games against Robert Morris and Hampton. The Spiders will then travel to New York to face Maryland and Kansas State/Boston College in the Barclays Center on Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.
UR has had tremendous success in early season tournaments under Coach Mooney, posting a 12-6 record in neutral site, exempt tournament games. The Spiders have won the South Padre Island Invitational, Orange Bowl Classic, Chicago Invitational and Gotham Classic with major wins over Missouri, Mississippi State, Purdue, Rutgers and California all coming in early season tournament play.
Jones-Cline Connection
T.J. Cline and ShawnDre' Jones are one of the Atlantic 10's best duos, especially in the pick and roll and pick and pop. They have combined for over 40 points in each of the first two games, marking the sixth time they've done that in their careers. They topped 30 points in UR's win over RMU.
They've also combined for 28 assists with 11 assists going to each other.
Sherod Comes Out Strong
On opening night, Nick Sherod became the first true freshman to start in a season opener since the 2006-07 season when three freshmen started (David Brewster, Brian Morris, Dan Geriot). Sherod went on grab a game-high nine rebounds in his debut and score five points.
Deeper Bench
The Spiders boast a deeper bench this season as nine players entered the game within the first eight minutes vs. VMI. All nine eventually played at least 10 minutes. Four of the nine are fresh faces with transfer Kwesi Abakah and freshmen Nick Sherod, De'Monte Buckingham and Grant Golden all seeing action early on.
Against RMU, the bench combined for 23 points as all three freshmen recorded career highs in most statistical categories.
Scoring Streak
T.J. Cline has now reached double figures in 16 straight games and 23 of his last 24 dating back to last season. He and ShawnDre' Jones each have 57 career double-figure scoring games.
