Dwaune Jones (1995-99) is in his 11th season with the Saints and fourth as the Northern Region scout for the organization. He spent several years playing professionally, both in the NFL and NFL Europe before returning stateside to enter into the scouting industry. With the Spiders, he was a three-year starter at wide receiver, hauling in 15 touchdowns and piling up nearly 2,000 yards.
Shaun Herock (1990-93) is in his fourth season with the Raiders after spending 19 years with the Green Bay Packers as the assistant director of college scouting. With the Raiders, Herock oversees all collegiate scouting for the Silver & Black. With the Spiders, Herock was a four-year letterwinner, playing at center and tackle during his career.
Bruce Allen (1974-77) is in his seventh season with the Redskins, now serving as the team president after serving as the vice president and general manager for over five seasons. His front office career spans over three decades, including time with the Buccaneers and Raiders. He was recently inducted into the Richmond Athletics Hall of Fame after a standout career as a punter for the Spiders.
Shawn Barber (1994-97) is in his first season as a player personnel assistant with the Chiefs, while also serving as a coach in the development FXFL, the Fall Experimental Football League. He joined the front office and coaching ranks after a 10-year professional playing career, which included time with the Redskins, Eagles, Chiefs and Texans. With the Spiders, Barber was an All-American linebacker and is a member of the Richmond Athletics Hall of Fame.
Todd McShay (1995) has now been with ESPN for over 10 years as part of their in-depth scouting team. He makes regular appearances on ESPN programs and is one of the media's top scouting analysts. After spending one season as a member of the Spiders program as a student-athlete, McShay finished his time at Richmond as an undergraduate assistant coach, eventually working his way into an internship with an NFL scout.
