Richmond Student-Athletes Honored At Annual Banquet

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond student-athletes donned their spring best and came together in the Robins Center to celebrate another outstanding year of Spider athletics.
The evening began with the introduction of the senior class, an annual tradition as the seniors walked down the steps from the terraces to the arena floor.
Master of Ceremonies Bob Black then introduced the evening's awards and their presenters.
"It has been a fantastic year in Spider Athletics," Director of Athletics Keith Gill said. "We have already won conference championships in women's cross country, football and swimming & diving, and we hope to win more with our spring sports in the coming weeks. Thank you to all of our hard-working coaches and staff, and a special thanks to our seniors for their years of dedication to Richmond."
