
Hard-Fought Second Round Sets Up Dramatic Atlantic 10 Finish

ORLANDO - The final grouping of Richmond, Dayton and VCU separated from the field on Saturday and set up a dramatic final round of the Atlantic 10 Championship.
Dayton currently sits in first at +13, VCU second at +14, and Richmond third at +16.
Although the Spiders shot +10 in the second round, UR rallied in the back nine as they shot just one over par among the top four players. Freshman Ben Wanichek led the way as he went -2 on the back nine.
A native of Eugene, Ore., Wanichek shot -2 on the back nine to finish with a team-best round of 73 (+1). He currently sits in a tie for 12th overall.
Sophomore Matthew Lowe and senior David Germann each shot rounds of 74. Lowe finished with three birdies, including one on the 18th hole to help close the gap. Lowe is currently in a tie for third at +1, just two shots off the leader. Germann sits in a tie for eight at +3.
Junior Keegan Hoff shot 77 on Saturday, while senior John David Sanderson carded 81. Hoff is currently in a tie for 20th at +7.
Richmond will tee off in the final grouping at 8:15 a.m. from the first tee on Championship Sunday. Follow live results here.
