Newcomer Spotlight: Lindsay Belli

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's soccer back line continues its growth with the addition of newcomer Lindsay Belli.
A native of Dublin, Ohio, Belli will serve as a presence on the defensive end and bolsters a wealth of experience at the club level. She joins three other newcomers on the back line.
Belli took a different route than most, choosing to continue year-round competition with her club team, Ohio Premier, rather than play for her high school. Her club soccer career with OP lasted for 11 seasons, during which her team ranked in the top 16 in the country in the ECNL. She was also a member of two-time State Cup championship team at the U12 and U13 levels
Academically Belli was a four-year Honor Roll student at Dublin Jerome. She also participated in Peer Collaboration for two years, where she helped other students in the classroom.
