Spiders Earn IWLCA Academic Honor

GRAND LAKE, Colo. -- The University of Richmond women's lacrosse team has been recognized as one of 93 NCAA Division I programs to be named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the 2016 season.
Each program with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher earned IWLCA Academic Squad honors. The Spiders were on the list for the fourth straight year and fifth in the past six seasons.
On the field, Richmond finished sixth in the Atlantic 10 regular-season standings before making a run in the A-10 tournament, finishing second.
