Kendall Anthony Signs New Pro Contract In Brazil

MACAE, BRAZIL – Former Richmond basketball standout Kendall Anthony's professional journey continues this season in South America as he has signed a pro contract with Macae Basquete in Macae, Brazil.
Last season, Anthony played professionally in Turkey and the Czech Republic averaging 12.6 points per game and 2.4 assists per contest.
A native of Jackson, Tenn., Anthony graduated from Richmond in 2015 as the program's all-time leader in three-pointers made (270) and fourth all-time in career points scored (1909). He was an All-District and All-Conference First Team performer in his senior season and led Richmond to the quarterfinals of the NIT.
Anthony is one of 16 former players in the Mooney era to play professionally, and his venture to Brazil marks the 18th different country with pro Spiders in the last 12 years.
