Fall Ball Begins October 2 for Spider Baseball

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – As Major League Baseball is on the search for who will find magic in October this year, college baseball is gearing up to begin fall ball. The Spider Baseball team will begin fall practice on Monday, October 2 at Pitt Field.

The dates for the annual Blue-Red Fall World Series are set as well. Game one is currently scheduled for Wednesday, November 1 with game two slated for the following day. The third and fourth games of the series will be Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11. The fall season will conclude with game five of the Red-Blue Series on Sunday, November 12.

Richmond returns a group of veterans for the 2018 season as well as adding 10 newcomers to the roster.
