Men's Golf Adds Two on Signing Day

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – Head men's golf coach Adam Decker announced this week the signing of two individuals set to join the program next season. Michael Childress and Jordan Secret have each signed letters of intent and will come to Richmond from Salisbury, N.C. and Atlanta, Ga. respectively.
MICHAEL CHILDRESS
High School: Cannon School
Academic Accomplishments: National Honor Society, National English Honor Society
Volunteer Work: Helped raise over $12,000 for Rowan Helping Ministries, Works with Nicklaus Children's Healthcare Foundation through the Leadership Links Program.
Athletic Accomplishments: Lettered Four years in Varsity Golf… Three-time All-Conference selection … First Team NCISAA 2016 … NCISAA Team State Champions 2015, 2016 … Conference Champions 2014, 2015, 2016 … CGA First-Team All-State 2016 … Finished the year ranked as the third best play in North Carolina by TYGA Rankings … 2016 U.S. Junior qualifier … 2017 B.I.G. I. qualifier … 2018 U.S. Amateur Four Ball qualifier … Top 10 back-to-back year in North-South Junior 2016-17.
